This is what a healing looks like.
We were in Asia. In our second day teaching "Scriptural Principles of Healing & Deliverance, we had come to the point where we call up volunteers for a practical demonstration. After selecting four volunteers, my voice boomed out across the crowded church: "Is there anyone here right now who is in active pain or in urgent need of healing?" Immediately, there was a ruckus at the front door. A young man physically dragged his crippled brother into the building, and set him down in a chair in the center of our four volunteers. Whoa! The young man had been an active church member until about six months before when a slow paralysis had come upon him. For at least two months, he had not stood or walked. We walked the volunteers through our "Seven Steps to Healing," and the young man's brother told him, "Now stand up." He stood, and the church gasped. A few people clapped. "Now walk," his brother said. The amateur photographer above caught some of the excitement which ensued. |
"Beyond Church" Blows
Up Our Teaching Ministry! When Covid shut down the facility we used for weekly Bible study, our son Sam said, "Dad, I'm opening up a Facebook group for you, and your ministry is going to explode!
Sam was right. Every weekday now, we are teaching and ministering to as many as 1,000 people -- where, before, our Bible study was drawing 50 to 60 weekly. Average reach now hovers at 280 to 550 daily on four continents. The over-all group is closing in on 2,500 members! We are broadcasting 12- to 15-minute devotions almost every weekday at 9:00 a.m. CST and still teaching our weekly Bible study each Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. You can easily join our Beyond Church family here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/beyondchurchministries . |
Saving Lives in Asia!
Since April 4, we've been able to provide $21,500 in support for Asian people cut off from food supplies by the Covid 19 crisis. With the help of Bishop David Bharti and dozens of pastors, literally thousands and thousands of people have received life-sustaining meals, often served from the trunks of pastors' cars.
ALL funds donated for this effort have been sent directly. We've even paid the wire fees. To contribute, text Dave at 985-630-1186. |
